Common Restaurant Design FAQ's
Restaurant branding is an essential component to a successful business plan. Logos and branding go hand in hand, with logo design kickstarting the branding project. Color palette, typography, and graphic design style are just a few points that are considered during this process. Once your restaurant logo is complete, the next step is your menu design: the centerpiece of your restaurant. Your website design is also a key component to your marketing efforts: it is essential that you are found online when customers are looking for the next best place to go eat. Restaurants with a professional website can also provide customers a place to view their menu, check out current deals/promotions, and book reservations, which can do wonders for your brand positioning (especially if you are a new restaurant).
Additional add-ons for your restaurant brand strategy can include a monthly SEO package or professional content writing for any or all of the above items. If a full branding package is currently out of reach, we can always approach projects a la carte.
Yes, you can purchase any of my restaurant branding services separately to accommodate your marketing needs or package them together. I allow restaurant owners to choose which brand elements go into each package to offer affordable restaurant branding services. Review my website portfolio for logo design, business card design, brochure design, flyer design, website design, or restaurant menu design, to develop your brand identity and reach your target audience.
Generally speaking, brand identity begins with your logo design, so you want it to make a lasting impression and provide a unique selling point. I like to begin with the logo design worksheet to build your restaurant brand, which asks a series of questions to help narrow the spectrum when designing your logo. This lets us focus on the styles and color palettes that fit your brand personality. I ask questions such as color preference, logo style, and typography among other things to create a design that will give the ultimate impression and attract customers.
Upon completion of the logo, we begin the design of other branding elements such as your brochure, business cards, other physical materials, and of course your website design. As your brand begins to take shape, we now start to create all assets in your “branding toolbox” such as typography, photography style, patterns and textures just to name a few. The website design is essential not only for new customer discovery, but also as a quick and easy place for potential customers to view your menu before coming in to dine at your restaurant.
The actual timing of completion does vary from project to project, depending on what your restaurant branding entails. Some of those variables can be current scheduling, but most importantly client response time. A good rule of thumb is that your restaurant branding process may take somewhere in the ballpark of two to four weeks for project completion.
